This mini cake was made with my "niece" in mind, in celebration for her 3rd birthday. The cake is chocolate and both tiers are covered with a sweet buttercream frosting. When I was thinking about this cake I wanted to do something girly for her, and something a little fancy but just for her. So I opted for mini tiers. The bottom tier is 2 inches, with a top tier that is a mere 1.25 inches.
